Return Goods Policy

Authorization for returning products:
Prior authorization from Alaven Pharmaceutical LLC (APC) is required for all returns. The Return Authorization (RA) number must be displayed on each shipping carton containing return product. Please call Alaven Pharmaceutical’s Return Goods department at (678) 589-7000 ext. 10137, fax (678)589-0500 or email returns@alavenpharm.com for return authorization. At no time shall an auto deduction be taken from Alaven unless we fail to respond with information or a credit memo within 15 days of RA request.

Dating of returnable goods:

Time frame: 6 months prior to expiration date and up to 12 months after expiration date.
Product must be in original container.

Conditions required to receive credit:

A valid Return Authorization (RA) number must accompany all returns for proper credit
RA Numbers are valid for 75 calendar days from issuance. Expired RA numbers will be considered invalid and no credit will be issued.
Products returned must match RA for credit, including lot number.
All products must be returned to APC or agent of APC within 75 days to receive credit. Products that have been destroyed by customer or agent of customer will not receive credit unless previously approved in writing.
Product must be in original, unopened, unaltered container to receive full credit.
Credit issued is current WAC less 5%. Adjustments will be made for products purchased through buying groups and special deals/promotions.
Partial returns will be credited based on percentage returned times WAC less 5%. (For example, 33% of the product is still in container. The credit that will be issued is 33% times current WAC less 5%.)
Returns due to overstock are subject to 20% restocking fee. Prior approval is required and chain of custody documented and approved by regulatory.

Shipping overages, shipping shortages and/or damaged shipments:
Products shipped in error by APC or products damaged in transit must be reported to APC within 5 working days of receipt and must be returned to APC within 15 days of receipt. Shortages must be reported within 5 working days of non-receipt of products. Contact APC Customer Service at (678) 589-7000.

Transportation charges:
Prepaid by customer except when error is due to APC.

Terms of return policy:

APC will not reimburse fees due to processing third party returns, destruction charges, shipping costs or processing.
All returns are subject to review by APC. Issuance of a RA number does not guarantee credit. Credit issuance is dependent on confirmed receipt/review of return goods by APC or APC contracted return facilitator.
No credit will be issued for return goods received without a valid RA number. Unauthorized return goods will be destroyed.
A returnable lot list is available upon request (updated monthly).
